This place gets 5 stars alone because of how good the nachos were ! There's no reason that chips and beans alone should be this good mind you I don't even like beans and forgot to tell them to take it off. I'm so glad I didn't. I got the chicken nachos and it was the perfect amount of everything no salsa needed. The guac was perfedt even the sour cream is the best I've ever had which I know sounds weird but today I learned not all sour cream is made equally. Everything's as well seasoned. I got 1 of each taco chorizo , carne asada, shrimp and chorizo a everything was great

The food is epic, everything you wish for from your moms kitchen! I love the PUPUSAS. They were bursting with cheese and the curtido was excellent. The Bistec Encebollado was a treat as well. Couldn't finish but just as rich and amazing. Not bad on the pockets, definitely a redo.

Not what I expected at all. I just left the bank around the corner and saw this spot sitting alone on the side of the road across from some railroad tracks. It didn't look like much, but I decided to give it a go. When we entered it was empty, and when we left it was empty. We were greeted immediately by our waitress, who took our drink and food order. The decor was typical Mexican décor that you expect to see in any American Mexican restaurant. The restaurant was clean and bright inside. There was a small backroom where the bar was located. It looked like an afterthought built into a hallway. I though it was cool though. The bathroom wasn't anything to special. One bathroom next to the bar that was clean and functional. I was feeling the authenticity. We ordered margaritas that were very good. They didn't have that nasty margarita mix taste. The only negative, they never last long. Why do margaritas seem to have more ice than drink? Just saying. For an appetizer we shared a pork and cheese papusa. It was very good and I loved the grilled flavor. I didn't find any pork in it, but the waitress explained that it is so refined that it's not noticeable. Hummmm? Ok, if you say so. It was good, so I didn't make a fuss about it. After all, what does this gringa know about cooking Mexican food. I only mentioned it because I paid more for pork vs just cheese. I also ordered 2 enchiladas with grounded, black beans and rice. All very good. I cleaned my plate, though I was full long before I finished. I regretted my gluttony for the rest of the day, but I couldn't stop eating. My mother was smarter. She ordered the grilled chicken burrito and cut it in half, taking half home to enjoy the next day for lunch. Great meal from an unassuming restaurant. Goes to show you, never judge a book by it's cover.

Def would drive by all the time and wanna check this place out. Well today I did and here's my story jaja..... I'm 1/2 mexican and my abuelita makes the best Mexican so I'm picky. So I can't compare anything to hers as that said it was really good. Ordered carne asada was pretty good, tortillas were fresh and horchata was on point. Had some of my homies tacos pastor yummmm they were better for sure. There's some stuff they can do better like music wasn't playing when I got in....that's a must in a Mexican restaurant and had to wave down waitress for the check but nothing major Side note: I peeked and looks like they are doing an addition... with whole bar and ish so I'm hella excited finally have a pool table and some music near by..def gonna be a regular fo shoooo

I have traveled past this little hole in the wall looking spot many times and when the craving for Mexican food hit me, I thought I need to just give this place a shot atleast once! And I'm glad I did! It has its own parking lot and it wasn't really busy when I went but that's ok. I walked in and was immediately greeted and was told I could sit anywhere I wanted. I was welcomed with complimentary warm tortilla chips and spicy salsa which tasted very good!! Server asked me for my drink choice and handed me a menu and gave me time. A few staple choices with pictures which helps a lot. It's a little bit pricey on some things but still manageable. I got the enchiladas plate which comes with two chicken enchiladas and rice and beans. The chicken was delicious and had lots of flavor on the inside. Same with the rice and beans. Each component held its own separately as well as together. The servers speak Spanish and English but mostly Spanish. They were more than helpful with explaining the items on the menu for me as well! Service was great, my drink stayed filled and I paid and left. I would love to come back here. It's a small restaurant so only room for one really big party or a bunch of small parties.

We had worked out and wanted some good marinated meat and i was after the guac. We have always seen this place. The place is small and run down but we did order out and this is one of those hidden treasures . servers very friendly as well. Ordered over the phone and food was ready in 15 mins. We got chicken and steak fajita dishes. Oh best part is all food was only 26 bucks for 2 people.
